We are numbered with those who have been saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We accept the Bible as our only authority. We will not take a name upon ourselves in regard to which church we fellowship in but would just say that we meet each Lord’s Day with other believers to remember the Lord together (as in 1Corinthians 11:23-26) and be taught from God’s Word, the Bible.
We have come to see, by the grace of God, that there is one Bible in English that can be trusted completely. It has nothing left out of it, no errors and cannot be faulted. Anyone contributing to this blog uses only King James Bible quotes in their posts.
Below is something we came across a few years ago:
What are you, and what do you believe?
We believe in baptism by immersion; but we are not Baptists.
We believe in Presbyters; but we are not Presbyterians.
We believe in Episcopacy; but we are not Episcopalians.
We believe in Jesus of Nazareth; but we are not Nazarenes.
We believe the Church was born at Pentecost; but we are not Pentecostals.
We believe in Jehovah; but we are not Jehovah Witnesses.
We have fellowship with Saints; but we are not Mormons.
We believe Saints should be united; but we are not United Church.
We gather in Congregations; but we are not Congregationalists.
We revere the name of Luther; but we are not Lutherans.
We sing Wesley’s lovely Hymns; but we are not Wesleyans or Methodists.
We believe there are brethren in Plymouth; but we are not Plymouth Brethren.
We believe the Son has set us free; but we are not the Free Church.
We believe in the Second Advent; but we are not Seventh Day Adventists.
We believe in Salvation; but we are not The Salvation Army.
We believe in the Catholic Church; but we are not Roman Catholics.
We believe Jesus said, “Ye are my friends”; but we are not Quakers.
We believe the Apostles are in the foundation of the Church; but we are not the Apostolic Church.
We believe in a coming Millennium; but we are not Millennial Dawnists.
We believe in the grace of God; but we are not the Grace Church.
We believe in missionary work; but we are not a Mission or Missionary Alliance.
We believe God has a Church on earth; but we are not The Church of God.
We are not Independents, nor Undenominational, nor Inter-denominational and we are not Non-denominational; BUT we are those whom the Holy Spirit has denominated “Christians”. We are not an Organisation but belong to a living Organism – “The Church” which is” the body of Christ”, composed of living members who have been born of the Spirit, and we gather in local companies to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ according to Matthew 18 verse 20 and seek to express it outside all the aforementioned circles. And we believe that every truly born again person in these places are only free to carry out the whole Word of God when they do as we have done. (2 Cor 6: 17) There are thousands of such companies all over the world. Read your Bible. God’s way is the only right way.” – G.A.R
